Yes, it’s coming soon.  This is a draft of how shipping will work.  The final version w/complete pricing is forthcoming.

How will my cheesecake arrive?

All of our cheesecakes are shipped frozen in specially designed packaging to safely transport our products. Cakes will ship with ice paks or dry ice depending on the style of cake chosen. As long as the cake is cool to touch, it is perfect for eating even if there is no dry ice remaining in the package.

For cakes shipped with dry ice, be sure not handle the remaining dry ice with bare hands.

What are the handling instructions? Or, what do I do with my cheesecake once it is delivered?

Our cheesecakes should be removed from their Styrofoam containers upon arrival. At this point, you may consume, refrigerate, or refreeze. Our cakes will last up to seven days in the refrigerator or up to six months in the freezer. Whichever you choose, your cake will taste as fresh as the day it was shipped.  Note – Cakes can be refrozen.

How should I serve my Cheesecake?

Cheesecakes should be served at room temperature – NOT warm. If frozen, leave cake overnight in the refrigerator and defrost on counter 3 hours before serving. Otherwise, defrost on counter 4-5hrs  before serving. Yes, it really takes that long.

A few of our fruit items items are best slightly cool. These include Strawberry Cheesecake and Lemon Cheesecake.

What is the best way in which to cut a whole cheesecake?
Cheesecakes are best served at room temperature. Use a warm knife (dip in hot water) to cut the cheesecake. A chef’s knife or cake knife works best. Wipe the knife with a damp towel in between each slice to ensure a smooth cut. Watch for fast hands trying to grab the cut slices! Enjoy!

What are your shipping charges?

Cakes are shipped using dry ice or gel paks. Standard 2-day shipping is $_____ per cake. Please contact me for the cost of overnight delivery.

When will I receive my order?

We are a small business with the focus of using all natural ingredients and absolutely no preservatives.  To ensure you receive the best product possible, our desserts are made to order.  We ship Monday-Friday. Standard shipping is 2-day service available for shipments sent Monday-Wednesday for delivery Wednesday-Friday. Overnight and Saturday delivery rates are also available.

Will I receive an order confirmation and tracking information?

After you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation. When the cake is shipped, you will receive order tracking information. You can use this information to track when your package is shipped and to inquire when it arrived.
